For years, filmmakers Lawrence Kasdan and his wife Meg ate at a diner in West Hollywood called Ed's Coffee Shop, opened by Ed Blumstein and his wife Sybil 60 years ago. With their passing, their daughter Ada took over and never turned anyone away. But with rents rising in the area, Ada makes the painful decision to close the restaurant.
