Ageing patriarch, Franco Cozzo, holds court over an iconic furniture empire. A pioneer of low-fi television advertising, Franco’s tri-lingual catchphrase sparked a cult-of-personality as kitsch as his baroque bedheads. But his character is more than a caricature.
